Tottenham were beaten at home by RB Leipzig in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.
In-form Bundesliga striker Timo Werner scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot, but it could have been much worse for the hosts.
In theory, the tie is still alive - just. But many believe it's all but over for Spurs.
Perhaps one of them is Jose Mourinho.
Following the match, the manager came out and gave a rather extraordinary interview.
- Man City mocked for 'Emptyhad' again

- 'Virgil Van Dijk will never win the Ballon d'Or'
The Special One was clearly frustrated with his players, his injuries and the fixture pileup. In truth, just sounded defeated.
You can see his full, fiery interview below:
There's so much to unpack here. First off, he was absolutely furious with Des Kelly's suggestion that we only saw the 'real Spurs' in the final 20 minutes and that he changed his shape at half-time.
Fair play for defending his players there.
But then Mourinho starts bemoaning his lack of depth, saying that Erik Lamela failed to complete any training sessions after returning from injury before being throw into a Champions League game.
The Spurs boss then appears to suggest his side didn't put enough effort in, comparing Leipzig's Patrik Schick, Christopher Nkunku and Werner to his crop of tired players.
"It's like going to a fight with a gun and no bullets," he said of his team, who failed to come out and press as much as their opponents did.
Mourinho then went even further by slamming the fixture schedule, claiming some of his players will be 'dead' by the end of the month.
In classic style, the Portuguese tactician ended his interview by taking a pop at his former club Chelsea by saying:
"Chelsea will be drinking sparkling water with lemon and watching the game on tv thinking on Saturday morning, thank you very much."
You really can't argue with Mourinho's honesty, but that was quite an extraordinary interview.
At times he defended his players, but then publically called them out seconds later.
That's peak Jose, though. The man really is box office.News Now - Sport News
