Ajax did not have it all their own away in the first half of their Europa League last-32 first leg against Getafe. The Dutch side are one of the favourites for the competition after surprisingly being knocked out of the Champions League. But they fell behind after 37 minutes when Acosta Deyverson netted the opener after a clever free-kick.Ajax were far from their best in the opening 45 minutes and failed to record a shot on target during that time. That's the first half that Ajax have not tested the goalkeeper since Erik ten Hag took charge in 2017.

And frustration started to get the better of the away side.

Getafe's players were going down easily and former Liverpool player Ryan Babel lost it in the second half.

The Dutch winger 'fouled' Allan Nyom, who proceeded to roll around on the floor as he feigned injury.

The referee awarded a free-kick, much to Babel's bemusement.

So what did Babel do? He decided to mock his opponent by rolling around on the floor to.

As Nyom got up, Babel then began to imitate him limping in what was some wonderful sh*thousery.

Watch the moment below:

To be fair, that is hilarious from Babel. He looked happy to receive a yellow card when it was given to him.

In our eyes, taking the booking was well worth it.

Play acting is, unfortunately, prevalent in today's game.

Those that decide to go down and feign injury deserve to be mocked, so fair play to Babel for taking action.

Babel later told BT Sport about the incident, per the Daily Mail: "I don't know if I'll ever do the same again. It happens in the heat of the moment.

"That guy [Nyom] was being very annoying. Getafe hasn't impressed me.

"Next week, at home, we'll play better and with a different referee."

Ajax eventually lost the game 2-0 after Kenedy netted in stoppage-time.

The Dutch giants will have it all to do when the two sides meet for the second leg next Thursday.
