Ruben Neves does not do tap-ins.The Portuguese midfielder rarely scores, but when he does, it's a screamer. And he netted another absolute beauty for Wolves in their Europa League last-32 first leg game against Espanyol on Thursday evening.Wolves took the lead when Diojo Jota netted the opener after 15 minutes. And Neves doubled their advantage just after half-time - and what a goal it was.

Adama Traore went down the right and whipped in a ball, only for it to be cleared away by an Espanyol player.

But it fell to Neves, who chested the ball down and then volleyed the ball home from 25 yards out.

What a hit son. What a hit.

@Ross_Tudor put it brilliantly, writing: 'Ruben Neves and absolute bangers, name a more iconic duo'.

It's true. While that may be one of the best goals of 2020 so far, it's arguably not even the best Neves has scored in his career.

He also scored this outrageous volley against Derby County in 2018.

His finish against Espanyol is his 15th goal for The Wanderers. Incredibly, 12 of those have come from outside the box.

Wolves won 4-0 in the end, with Jota scoring in twice 14 second-half minutes to complete his hat-trick.

The 23-year-old has now scored back-to-back hat-tricks in the Europa League after he netted thrice against Besiktas in December.

Nuno Espírito Santo's side are now almost certainly in the hat for the last-16 draw but will need to do a job when they travel to Spain for the return fixture in a weeks' time.
