There has been much debate in the boxing community over whether Tyson Fury can seriously emerge victorious over Deontay Wilder courtesy of a knockout in their much-anticipated rematch.

The Gypsy King's reputation is not one that is synonymous with power punching, but close to 70% of the victories during his professional career have been stoppages.

All the talk going into Saturday's rematch in Las Vegas is centred around the fearsome right hand of Wilder, but could Fury bring a halt to proceedings with a devastating punch of his own?

Heavyweight legend Lennox Lewis believes Fury can do just that and his opinion has been swayed by the Englishman's change of trainer prior to the fight.

The Gypsy King parted ways with Ben Davison back in December and hired the more experienced Javan 'Sugar' Hill in his place.

Lewis believes the added experience of Sugar can help Fury deliver on his promise to knockout Wilder in Las Vegas on Saturday evening.

"He [Fury] has the power, he just needs to hone it," Lewis told GIVEMESPORT in Las Vegas.

"He's with a new trainer now and a new trainer can dial him in on how to throw a correct right hand.

"If you look at Sugar's past fighters, they are guys that knock you out so he knows how to develop the power punch."

When asked whether Fury's change of trainer was the right decision, Lewis emphatically replied that it was indeed the right call by the lineal heavyweight champion.

“Very smart decision, no offence to Ben Davison," Lewis added.

“He [Davison] doesn’t have enough experience to help Tyson Fury at this point.

“The guy is 21 and you have trainers who are in their 50s and have a wealth of information.”

Sometimes in professional sport, tough decisions have to be made and Fury's could seriously bare fruit come Saturday night in the MGM Grand Arena.
