Sasha Banks is reportedly scheduled to be at WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week, the first time she's been back on the road for the company in several weeks.

It’s been weeks since WWE fans last saw Sasha Banks on SmackDown, as she has been dealing with an ankle issue.

During an in-character interview on WWE After The Bell, The Boss stated that she hasn't wrestled due to the ankle injury suffered on television thanks to Lacey Evans.

She claimed to be 100% but she needed to be 125% before she could return. Well, it looks like she is now 125%, according to reports.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Banks is scheduled to be at this week’s SmackDown taping.

However, it hasn’t been confirmed if The Boss will make an appearance on WWE TV this Friday. We’ll have to wait and see if she makes an appearance on the show.

Banks last wrestled for WWE over a month ago, so it will be good to get her back in the ring as we continue on the road to WrestleMania, so long as she is cleared to compete.

The Boss last wrestled on January 3’s episode of SmackDown in a Triple Threat tag team match alongside SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, and Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans.

Banks did not participate in the Women’s Royal Rumble match at the end of January as she wasn’t cleared to compete.

It has been widely speculated for the past couple of months that Banks would be involved in a WrestleMania feud with Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

SmackDown this week is due to have a number one contenders match between Naomi and Carmella to decide who will go on to face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s title at Super ShowDown on February 27 in Saudi Arabia.

It will be interesting to see if Banks finds a way to get involved in this match to show her intentions to go for Bayley and the SmackDown Women’s title at a later date.

We’ll have to wait and see if The Boss makes a return to WWE on SmackDown this week.
