Real Madrid remain one of the most attractive football clubs on the planet.

Almost every player dreams to one day turn out for Los Blancos and their power in the transfer market is almost unmatched.

Just ask Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic or Thibaut Courtois, who have all moved to Madrid in recent years.

Despite all their star power, Real still look to make a 'Galactico' signing ahead of every season and according to Marca, it will be a midfielder - or two, or even three - this summer.

The Spanish publication reports that Zinedine Zidane is planning to completely rejuvenate his team's midfield ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

To do so, the manager wants to replace Luka Modric, Isco and James Rodriguez with Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Eduardo Camavinga.

Marca also suggest that on-loan youngster Martin Odegaard will return to the Bernabeu, to complete the fresh new lineup.

The idea of four new players alongside Toni Kroos, Federico Valverde and Casemiro will surely excite supporters.

Would that give Real the most terrifying midfield depth in the world? Almost certainly.

Marca claim that right now, Van de Beek is the closest player to agreeing a deal with Real Madrid, but Zidane prioritises a move for Pogba instead and will make a big push this summer.

He won't come cheap, but it's believed their other target Camavinga will be available for less than €100m euros. Then of course, there's Odegaard, who will cost nothing at all.

The 21-year-old is currently impressing while on-loan at Real Sociedad and it's believed he has a big future ahead of him in Madrid.

Squad depth is one thing, but should Los Blancos land all of their targets, then they will be building one of the most frightening midfield lines in history.
