The rumoured Class of 2020 for the WWE Hall of Fame just had two more names ticked off as confirmed following the final SmackDown before Super ShowDown. With the nWo and Batista already confirmed for the spectacle in Tampa, more names that have come out as potentially going in with them in the last few weeks have made it look like a very attractive class.John Bradshaw Layfield, Jushin Thunder Liger and The British Bulldog all look likely to be heading into the Hall of Fame, and their names have been speculated along with Nikki and Brie Bella. Both women retired within weeks of each other in 2019 for different reasons - Brie wanted to continue creating a family with her wrestler husband Daniel Bryan, whilst Nikki's neck injury meant she had to step away from the squared circle. With successful reality television and business careers to fall back on, the twins have been kept busy, and due to their successes inside and outside of the ring, they are going to be honoured by WWE.

Earlier in the week, the Bella Twins' return to SmackDown was confirmed and it was only ever going to be about one thing.

They used their time on Alexa Bliss' 'A Moment Of Bliss' talk segment to confirm their entrance into the Hall of Fame, and there was also a heartwarming moment where Bryan brought out his daughter Birdie before his match with Heath Slater.

Whilst there are other females out there that haven't yet got their place in the Hall of Fame who were perhaps more talented in the ring than the Bellas, no-one can argue against the fact that they've created a legacy for themselves.

Especially towards the latter years of her wrestling career, Nikki especially showed tons of improvement, and spent her last full-time run on SmackDown putting other women over.

The news was always going to have a mixed reaction, but read it and weep folks - Nikki and Brie Bella will officially be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 2.
