Deontay Wilder insisted he really wasn’t scared of Tyson Fury’s power ahead of their rematch."I can tell you now that there were no rounds where I felt threatened by his power,” the Bronze Bomber said of the original fight.“Like I said before, he has pillow fists. That’s how soft they were in that fight.“I took all his punches, the ones he landed, and I walked right through them. So I don’t respect none of his power.”Well, those “pillow fists” must have had rocks in them during their rematch.

Fury battered Wilder from start to finish before Wilder’s team threw in the towel in the seventh round.

Wilder had already hit the canvas twice - in the third and fifth rounds.

It was a blow to the ear at the end of the third round that did the damage though.

Now, ringside footage has emerged of that Fury punch which severely damaged Wilder.

And it shows just how hard Fury actually punches.

Pillow fists? We don’t think so…

Those pillow fists left Wilder being taken to hospital rather than conduct his post-fight press conference.

Of course, after his brilliant victory, Fury mocked Wilder for his assessment of his punching power.

“Don’t forget, when I came here they said I can’t punch," Fury reminded everyone.

“Deontay Wilder said himself that I’ve got two pillow fists. But you know, not bad for an old fat guy who can’t punch, eh? Done alright, didn’t I?

“I’m an old feather duster who can’t break an egg.”
