Tyson Fury remains undefeated and to boot handed Deontay Wilder his first career loss after a seventh-round stoppage via TKO.Wilder’s corner threw in the towel after a barrage of punches unleashed by Fury, and the American was backed into a corner receiving some heavy combination shots at fast pace.Wilder said post-fight that he wished he could ‘have gone out on his shield’, however, claimed not to be making excuses for his performance and heralded the ‘Gypsy King’ the better man on the night.Wilder has a 30-day rematch clause etched into his contract, but as of writing this article, it's not known whether he will trigger the clause or not.The ‘Bronze Bomber’ will no doubt need time to recover from his dismantling at the hands of Fury, however, the Brit addressed the media post-fight and suggested that a trilogy fight will be inevitable.

Fury put a halt to Wilder’s undefeated record by way of TKO in the seventh, meaning he is now a 2x world heavyweight champion and the current holder of the WBC title belt.

Just when you thought you may have watched the outcome of the fight in every possible way, a slow-motion version has emerged, and it makes the finish that much more poetic.

It's very clear that Wilder was in no position to defend himself, and it's even more clear that Fury could smell blood, hence why he was throwing punch after punch after punch.

Brutal and emphatic.

This win for Fury means that the heavyweight division is dominated by all-British champions in Anthony Joshua and Fury himself.

AJ currently holds the rest of the belts: IBO, IBF, WBA and WBO with Fury holding the last piece of the undisputed puzzle.

Fans all over the world, British or not, want to see a unified heavyweight division, something that hasn’t happened since the likes of Lennox Lewis – the last undisputed world heavyweight champion.
