Speculation is certainly doing the rounds after Tyson Fury did the business against Deontay Wilder on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Of course, now the fight every British boxing fan wants to see is Tyson Fury against Anthony Joshua in order to see a British fighter unify the heavyweight division.

An undisputed heavyweight champion hasn’t been crowned since the era of Lennox Lewis.

GiveMeSport has put the feelers out to fans on Twitter with a poll to see who people feel will come out on top in a bout between Fury and AJ.

Fury is coming off the back of a true dismantling of the ‘Bronze Bomber’ Wilder to become a 2x heavyweight champion, whilst Joshua has recently gained his own revenge over Andy Ruiz Jr.

Wilder’s corner threw in the towel to bring the fight to a seventh-round stoppage – a point when the American was judged unfit to continue.

In a post-fight speech, Wilder addressed the media and claimed that he’d rather his corner let him ‘go out on his shield’; however, voiced that he wasn’t intending on making any excuses.

Fury, however, maintains his undefeated record since turning professional, albeit a draw against Wilder first-time round; fans are now looking forward to Fury’s next potential fight and they have only one person in mind – and it’s not Wilder.

The fight the world wants to see is Fury vs AJ and AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn has already pressed the issue on Twitter, proclaiming: “This fight is gonna and has to happen this year!”

The question everyone wants to know is, who will come out on top?

AJ stands at 6ft 9” tall and weighs around 18st, Fury, on the other hand, is 6ft 9” and his weight can fluctuate a little more than most, but he is very versatile in the ring against any opponent put in front of him.

Have your say as to who you think will come out on top in this potential blockbuster fight…
