Anthony Joshua has broken his silence after Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas last night to become the new WBC champion.

The Gypsy King outboxed his American opponent for the entirety of the fight, and his eyes will certainly be on AJ's belts in order to unify the division.

After their entertaining draw in December of 2018, a lot of people were backing Wilder to get the job done this time around, however, he was simply never at the races.

He was knocked down numerous times and then he was getting battered so badly, his corner were forced to throw in the towel on his behalf.

Wilder was visibly fuming with his camp's decision, but he can't really argue with it. He was getting pounded in the corner and looking borderline defenceless.

Not only that, he was also bleeding from the ear, which could've been a very serious injury.

However, that was all she wrote for the American and his time as the WBC champion.

Now, it is Fury who is the champion, and it is he who will be looking for a future fight with Joshua, who has since broken his silence with regards to the fight.

AJ took to his official Instagram account to post a picture of both fighters, calling them 'Gladiators' in the process.

Although it is nothing groundbreaking from Joshua, it's clear he has massive respect for both fighters for their performances on Saturday night.

Yes Wilder was schooled for seven rounds, but he showed tremendous heart as it was clear he wasn't with it from round three.

As for Fury, it was yet another boxing masterclass from the Gypsy King.

We all know what we want next, and that is Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium.

A boxing heavyweight dream!
