Jonathan Joseph made his prestigious 50th cap for England amidst their latest Six Nations victory. The Red Roses steamrolled to an emphatic 24-12 lead over British rivals Ireland in their third match of this year’s Six Nations. And with their win, Eddie Jones’ side moved up into second place in the league table behind only France, who now have 13 points after just three games themselves - four ahead of England; Le Bleus will surely already be eyeing up a possible Grand Slam.Whilst much credit may go to captain Owen Farrell and flanker Courtney Lawes – and deservedly so – the English inside-centre was pivotal in the side’s victory, driving the ball forward and making some key plays such as a turnover in the latter stages of the game to stop Ireland applying any pressure late on.The Bath all-rounder staked his claim at international level with a scintillating hat-trick in the space of 18 minutes against Italy in February 2016, proving his extensive capabilities at Test level and has since gone on to deserve a competitive place in the team.

But there was one moment in particular during his landmark appearance that fans took a liking to.

On receiving the ball at the centre of the Twickenham park, Joseph produced some of the quickest footwork of England’s entire Six Nations campaign so far.

Side-stepping and feinting away from three flying tackles, Joseph gained over 20 yards in a single play. On finally being wrestled to the ground, even the Irish fans stood up to applaud what they had just seen.

And just a minute later, England had their second try of the match from Elliot Daly.

It didn’t go unnoticed on social media either. The official England Twitter account took to the platform to show their appreciation of the silky bit of skill.

England have another home tie against a traditional British foe in their nest Six Nations tie. They host a Wales side coming off the back of a narrow defeat to France.

The side will be hoping that Joseph can produce more moments of magic in their crucial upcoming fixture.
