Tyson Fury has been invited to The White House and The Vatican following his Deontay Wilder domination

Where were you when Tyson Fury absolutely dismantled Deontay Wilder?

The Gypsy King delivered one of the greatest boxing masterclasses of all time on Saturday night as he picked Wilder apart to leave him bloodied and bruised after just seven rounds.

Ultimately, Wilder's team had no choice but to throw in the towel, with the American at very real risk of attaining a serious injury, as blood poured from his ear and lip.

It was a merciless performance from Fury who looked a man possessed from the moment he stepped into the ring.

Just about everything landed and, when he sent WIlder sprawling to the canvas with a stonking right hand, it was only a matter of time before he would be declared heavyweight champion of the world.

The world stood still as all eyes turned to the MGM Grand Garden Arena and you can be certain that every eye that had been trained on Las Vegas will remember what they saw for many a year to come.

It is no surprise then, that just about everyone on the planet wants a piece of the Fury mania in the aftermath of possibly the greatest heavyweight performance ever.

What might be somewhat of a surprise though, are the variety of high profile invitations Fury has received in the hours following the bout.

Deontay Wilder v Tyson Fury

According to promoter Frank Warren, Fury has received a friendly invitation to the White House from the one and only Donald Trump who reportedly watched Fury make light work of Wilder.

And, as if that wasn't enough, Warren also revealed that Fury had caught the eye of the Vatican, where Pope Francis has reached out inviting the Brit to the historic city.

Yes, you read that right - Pope Francis wants to meet the Gypsy King.

You can just imagine Fury belting out another edition of 'Miss American Pie' on the lawns of the Whitehouse before jetting over to Italy to hang out with the Sovereign of the Vatican State.

Fury could be in for a busy few months following the biggest night of his life and you just know he will be loving every minute of it.
