Floyd Mayweather has admitted he WOULD be interested in having a rematch with Conor McGregor, but only if it made financial sense.

There's a reason Mayweather is nicknamed 'Money' - he will only do something if there is cash to be made.

The American has already stepped foot inside the boxing ring with McGregor, dismantling him back in 2017 in one of the biggest sporting events in history, and it seems like he's ready to do battle once again.

Mayweather was simply too good for the Irishman on the night, schooling him for the majority of the fight, which was to be expected considering he's one of the greatest to lace up a pair of gloves and Notorious was making his debut in the sport.

However, McGregor could leave feeling proud of his attempt, especially considering he was more productive than Manny Pacquiao when it comes to fighting against Mayweather.

There has been plenty of talk since about a possible rematch, with reports suggesting the American could step foot inside the Octagon for the sequel, but it seems like boxing would be the most likely scenario.

Speaking to TMZ about a possible second fight, Mayweather admitted he'd happily fight again, but only if big money was on offer.

“Man, sh*t. If they pay I’m there to play,” Mayweather said.

“And if they’re paying cash, Conor I’ll whip your ass. Again.”

Mayweather has been hotly tipped with working alongside UFC president Dana White in recent months, with pictures of the two together going viral earlier this year.

Also, McGregor has recently returned to action himself, defeating Donald Cerrone inside 50 seconds at UFC 246.

Whether people would want to see Mayweather vs McGregor 2 is unknown, but one thing is for sure, if 'Money' wants it to happen, it will certainly happen.
