Liverpool have equalled Manchester City's English top-flight record of 18 consecutive top flight wins with a dramatic comeback win over West Ham United.Jurgen Klopp's side were 2-1 down with 25 minutes remaining but turned it around through late goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. The Reds were big favourites to win at Anfield and they took the lead inside 10 minutes.Trent Alexander-Arnold's delicious ball in was begging to be finished, and Georginio Wijnaldum obliged as he headed past Lukasz Fabianski. Many would have been expecting Liverpool to romp away with a victory from that point but it was West Ham who managed to restore parity just minutes later.

Robert Snodgrass whipped a corner in and Issa Diop rose highest to head home.

Jurgen Klopp's side were having the majority of the possession and Andy Robertson, Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah all went close.

Virgil van Dijk rattled the bar late on in the opening 45 minutes and the teams would go in all-square.

Liverpool were far from their best in the first-half. West Ham were threatening, especially from set-pieces, and were deservedly level at the break.

And the away side took a shock lead 10 minutes after half-time.

Declan Rice swung in a ball from the right and Pablo Fornals volleyed home, sending the West Ham fans into raptures.

Klopp immediately reacted to going behind as he sent on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for Naby Keita.

Liverpool started throwing men forward and Fabianski was called into action as he stopped a fierce Alexander-Arnold drive, while Roberto Firmino headed over from a corner.

The Reds were firing in shot-after-shot and it looked only a matter of time until they equalised.

And they did so with just over 20 minutes remaining when Fabianski's howler gifted Mohamed Salah the leveller.

The Polish goalkeeper should have easily saved Salah's effort, which was straight at him.

But he let the ball squirm between his legs and he could do nothing as it trickled into the net.

It looked almost inevitable that Liverpool would go on to score the winner and they did so through Sadio Mane.

Alexander-Arnold cut the ball back in the box and Mane converted from close range.

Mane thought he had made it 4-2 minutes later, only to see his goal ruled out by the offside flag.

West Ham had a late chance to equalise when Jarrod Bowen went clear on goal.

But Alisson stood tall to deny Bowen and clinch the victory for Liverpool.

Their hopes of an Invincible season are still alive and well. Just.
