Edge is set to return to WWE in two weeks on Monday Night Raw according to reports, his first appearance since the Raw the night after the Royal Rumble.Edge made his shocking return to WWE after almost nine years away at the Royal Rumble at the end of January. He defied the odds and came out of retirement after what many deemed a career-ending neck injury, and fans are happy to see him back in the squared circle. He then appeared on Raw the following night, only to be attacked by Randy Orton, and he hasn’t been seen in WWE since.Well, it looks like fans will only have to wait two more weeks before they see The Rated-R Superstar in a WWE ring again, according to the arena which will be hosting that show.

The Capital One Arena in Washington, DC is now advertising Edge for March 9’s episode of Raw, which will also take place the night after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The arena notes that The Rated-R Superstar will live on Raw to give an update on his medical condition.

WWE did announce this week on Raw that Beth Phoenix, Edge’s wife, will be on next week’s show to provide an update on her husband.

Considering Orton has attacked all those that have shown some sort of compassion towards Edge over the past couple of weeks, surely, he won’t do the same and attack Phoenix?

Imagine the heat The Viper would receive if he did. It would be more than enough to bring The Rated-R Superstar back to Raw after several weeks away.

Orton currently hasn’t been booked for Elimination Chamber, but if he does have a match on the show, it wouldn’t be surprising if Edge interferes in order to get some payback on him.

The Viper and The Rated-R Superstar are expected to have a match at WrestleMania 36 later this year in Tampa on April 5.
