Chelsea have a mountain to climb in order to reach the Champions League quarter-finals after slumping to a 3-0 defeat at home to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.Frank Lampard’s side were outclassed by the Bundesliga leaders, who netted three goals in the second half to effectively kill the tie.The scorer for Bayern’s first two goals was former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry, who can’t stop scoring whenever he returns to London. The 24-year-old struck four second-half goals against Tottenham back in October.Bayern recorded a 7-2 victory over Spurs and Gnabry, who struck in the 53rd, 55th, 83rd and 88th minutes, was the star of the show.

And he managed to repeat the trick in the English capital at Stamford Bridge, netting his quick-fire brace early in the second half.

His first goal was a neat finish inside the box from Robert Lewandowski’s cut back...

Lewandowski then set up the winger again moments later…

Gnabry has now scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in just 29 games for Bayern this season.

Arsenal fans, once again, must be scratching their heads wondering why on earth he was allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium in 2016.

Some cracking stats involving Gnabry have emerged following his brace against the Blues.

Gnabry has now scored as many European goals in London this season as Chelsea.

Here are some other belters…

Bayern Munich summed it up perfectly with their own tweet: ‘London is SERGE GNABRY’

Lewandowski then added a third goal with 15 minutes left on the clock after some sensational work on the left wing from the impressive Alphonso Davies…

Marcos Alonso was also sent off in the final 10 minutes following a VAR review.

A nightmare evening for Lampard and his Chelsea players, then.

But yet another night to remember for Bayern and, in particular, Gnabry.
