Bayern Munich showed on Tuesday night that they are one of the favourites to lift the Champions League this season. The German side crushed Chelsea 3-0 in their last-16 first leg tie at Stamford Bridge.Bayern were by far the better team in the first half but failed to find a way past Willy Caballero. They finally managed to score the opener in the 51st minute as Serge Gnabry netted after unselfish work from Robert Lewandowski.Gnabry then netted again three minutes later, before Lewandowski made sure Bayern would travel back to Germany with a three-goal lead.

Gnabry ended with two goals while Lewandowski bagged a goal and two assists.

But the best player on the park was 19-year-old, Alphonso Davies.

The youngster absolutely dominated the left-hand side of the pitch.

He showed on numerous occasions that he may well be the fastest player in Europe. That's not an exaggeration.

Mason Mount thought he was through on goal in the 18th minute.

But Davies showed tremendous pace to catch Mount up and then shield the ball out of play.

Mount was again through minutes into the second half.

But, once again, Davies showed some rapid pace to catch Mount up and prevent him from getting his shot off.

It wasn't just Mount that Davies look ridiculously slow.

He ran the length of the pitch in the second half, breezing past Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James, before getting his cross in.

And his speed helped create Lewandowski's goal.

He picked up the ball on the half-way line, played a one-two, before racing past three Chelsea players and setting up his teammate for an easy finish.

He's the footballer version of Usain Bolt.

His stats show just how good he was on the night.

According to @StatmanDave he won 100% of his tackles, had a 91% pass accuracy, completed six of seven take-ons and made eight ball recoveries.

Oh, and he was pivotal as Bayern kept a clean sheet.

It really was an incredible performance by the teenager. It is crazy to think he is just 19.

He looks to have a wonderful career ahead of him.
