A video which appears to show Zlatan Ibrahimovic having a pop at Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira has gone viral on social media in recent days. But not all is as it seems. While the original video was obviously intended as a joke, some people believe Zlatan was actually taking the p*** out of his former United teammates. On the video, Zlatan says: “20 games, zero goals. What the f*** is that? Never heard about this. You wanna learn how to score? You come to my school, I’ll learn you how to score.”The video was tweeted out by @FutbolBible on Sunday and has a massive 15.7k retweets and 48.7k ‘likes’ at the time of writing. Other big accounts on Twitter also posted the video.

The clip has also been published by several websites, including Caught Offside and Fox Sports.

Caught Offside’s report reads: “Ibrahimovic is clearly not impressed at their lack of goals, and pulls no punches as he insists he can try helping them to get back on track.

“This is pretty embarrassing for two big names at United, who really do need to up their game if they are to make it for such a big club.”

However, for those unaware - and sorry to run the joke here, guys - but Zlatan was *not* having a go at Lingard and Pereira in this video.

Here’s the original video from 2019…

It shows Zlatan, along with other current and former stars including Ruud Gullit and Patrick Kluivert, mocking a misfiring amateur striker called Philippe Hes.

Hes, who plays for a team called AFC 5, failed to score a single goal in 20 games for his club - and this led to various stars, including Zlatan, sending a tongue-in-cheek video message.

While United fans would probably like Ibrahimovic to send Lingard and Pereira a message to give the pair of them a kick up the a***, we thought it was important to set the record straight here.

Coincidentally, Lingard has failed to score a goal or provide an assist in 20 Premier League appearances this season.

While the equally under-fire Pereira has scored one goal and set up three more in 23 league appearances this term.

Both players are currently facing a battle to save their United careers.
