Liverpool are almost guaranteed to win the Premier League this season.

But they still have a lot to play for with an Invincible season on the line.

Their unbeaten run of was in serious jeopardy on Monday night when they were 2-1 down to West Ham with 20 minutes remaining.

Jurgen Klopp's side managed to turn it all round, though.

Mohamed Salah netted the equaliser thanks to a howler from Lukasz Fabianski.

And minutes later Sadio Mane converted from Trent Alexander-Arnold's cut-back to secure the win.

It wasn't Virgil van Dijk's greatest performance in a Liverpool shirt.

The Dutchman wasn't at fault for the two goals his side conceded, but he wouldn't have been happy with his side's inability to keep a clean sheet.

That didn't stop West Ham's players lining up in the tunnel after the game to try and get his shirt.

One player that tried his luck was Tomas Soucek.

The January signing had a day to forget as he was subbed off through injury after 47 minutes.

To try and lift his spirits he asked for Van Dijk's shirt in the tunnel.

"‘Virgil! Can I get your shirt?’" He could be heard saying.

However, Van Dijk denied his request as he had already promised that he would give it to Pablo Fornals.

"‘I’ve given it already to him,’" Van Dijk replied, before pointing at the waiting Fornals.

And it's fair to say that Soucek looked gutted.

The clip was shown in Liverpool's 'Inside Anfield' and you can view it by going to 12:11 in the below video.

Van Dijk is so good that opponents are now getting disappointed when they can't have his shirt after a game.

Soucek will have to wait a while for another opportunity to grab the Liverpool star's shirt.

The two teams will not play each other again this season having already played twice in the Premier League.

Soucek must take this lesson and use it in future - if you want someone's shirt, you have to get your request in early.
