Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua is the fight every boxing fan is desperate to see.

The two Brits hold all the heavyweight belts between them following Fury’s stunning victory over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas last weekend.

However, Fury is set for a third fight against the American this summer due to a rematch clause.

Wilder, 34, confirmed earlier this week that he intends to activate the rematch clause with immediate effect after suffering the first defeat of his professional career.

This effectively ends the chance of a unification fight between Fury and Joshua taking place this summer.

However, promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that he is desperate for Joshua to go head-to-head with Fury in November or December of this year.

“People don't want the third fight. They've had 19 rounds now, Wilder's probably won three of them and in the last fight he got battered,” Hearn told iFL TV.

“But I understand the contractual position. He does have a right to a rematch clause.

“I’d just say ‘Hurry up, please’ and do it quickly. We just hope they get on with it and get it out of the way.”

Joshua - who exacted revenge on Andy Ruiz Jr in December, five months after suffering a shock defeat against the Mexican - currently faces a mandatory defence of his WBA, IBF and WBO titles against Kubrat Pulev this summer.

But assuming Joshua and Fury both win their summer bouts, Hearn wants to see a fight organised between the two heavyweight rivals for the end of 2020.

“We can't get Fury, we've got to fight Pulev and we'll get that out of the way,” he continued.

“Hopefully, Fury can get his out of the way and we can get this done in November or December this year.”

Hearn added: “No banana skins, all business.

"AJ beats Pulev at Tottenham Hotspur, Fury beats Wilder again, probably in America and let's make it happen.

"You'll get some crazy numbers around the world to host it but how often are we going to get the chance for two Brits to fight for the undisputed heavyweight world championship?

"To do it at Wembley Stadium would be special.

"We've got the chance now to make an undisputed fight between two British champions. We would be daft not to make this happen."
