WWE are always on the look-out for new superstars and they love to bring in athletes who have already been successful in a different field.Boxers, MMA fighters, American Football stars, you name a sport and WWE have probably converted someone from that field to become a wrestler. And somewhere down the line, there may be a place for one of the NBA's brightest stars - Giannis Antetokounmpo - in the company. The 'Greek Freak' is a big fan of WWE and has been featured on their YouTube channel, and has recently been showing off his moves backstage at Milwaukee Bucks games in videos shared to social media.

He and Robin Lopez are usually the men involved and the clips have become highly popular, and Giannis even went face-to-face with WWE star Cesaro at a recent game between the Bucks and the Detroit Pistons.

There could be scope for WWE to do something with Giannis in the near future as his stock continues to rise in the world of basketball, and his Bucks team lead the Eastern Conference this season, losing just eight games out of 58.

They travelled to the 6ix last night to face the current NBA champions - the Toronto Raptors - and as ever, the famous Canadian rapper Drake was in attendance, but he appeared to be taunting Giannis as he entered the building.

Drake was armed with two WWE title belts - the most recent WWE Championship and a customised Hulk Hogan WWF Championship from the 1980s - and it appeared to be a direct send to the Bucks star.

Did the mind games of Drake work? In short - no.

Not only did the Bucks leave Toronto with the victory, but Giannis nailed a huge double-double with 19 points and 19 rebounds, and he responded to Drake post-game.

“I didn’t notice that. I just found out about it,” Giannis told the media regarding Drake's stunt.

“I’m in the game, I’m just locked-in. I really don’t look at fans and what they do and all that.

“He [Drake] cares about me. I really don’t. I’m just here to win games and help my team win."

Well that's Drake told loud and clear, but if anything the pre-game stunt brings a lot of attention to WWE as their belts were proudly on display.

Who knows, Vince McMahon could bring BOTH Giannis and Drake to WWE at some point - he certainly has enough money to do so...
