West Brom appear to be ready to enter the race for reported Liverpool target Wilfred Zaha.
According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old has been tracked by Baggies' representatives in recent weeks and a bid for his services could be in the offing come the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Roy Hodgson was in the stands to watch the Crystal Palace striker in action against QPR last weekend, and the former Liverpool boss is said to have been impressed with what he saw.
Liverpool themselves have also been linked with Zaha in recent weeks and - like Hodgson - Kenny Dalgish is reported to have been to watch the teenager at close quarters.
The Liverpool manager ran the rule over Zaha as England under 19s took on their German counterparts in February and the Anfield club have been tipped to swoop for the £2 million-rated starlet in the summer.
Liverpool owners New England Sports Ventures (NESV) are known to be keen make a more concerted effort to invest in young talent and Zaha appears to have been identified as potentially shrewd acquisition.
