Manchester City had arguably their greatest ever European night on Wednesday. They pulled off an incredible comeback to beat Real Madrid 2-1 at the Bernabeu in the first leg of their last 16 tie. The result puts Pep Guardiola's in a great position to qualify for the quarter-finals and should cement them as one of the competition's favourites, too. Isco had given Los Blancos a second-half lead, finishing well after being set up by Vinicius Junior. But it wasn't long before City were level, with Kevin De Bruyne crossing brilliantly for Gabriel Jesus to head in from close range with 77 minutes on the clock.

Four minutes later, Dani Carvajal fouled Raheem Sterling inside the penalty box and De Bruyne stepped up to sweep in the spot-kick. Just like that, it was 2-1 to the visitors.

Cue pandemonium in the Man City end, right? Well, wrong. A video has emerged of the awful limbs from the away supporters as they 'celebrated' the second goal.

Check it out below:

Those are hardly the celebrations you'd expect after De Bruyne scores the club's biggest ever European away goal.

It didn't take long supporters to call out their Man City rivals on social media, either.

"Probably the worst Man City limbs I’ve ever seen. Go 2-1 up away at Real Madrid and half of them don’t look bothered????" one said.

"F*** off those Man City ‘limbs’ were pathetic. At least 5 people just stood there recording it on their phone. So deaddddddd," another wrote.

"Man City’s limbs there man... f***ing embarrassing," a third supporter added.

We all know City fans have a reputation for failing to fill their own home ground, so when the away fans are as lethargic as that after scoring the winner vs Real Madrid, there was always going to be criticism.

Perhaps they're saving the limbs for the second leg?
