Pep Guardiola masterminded Manchester City's biggest ever Champions League win on Wednesday night.
The Premier League champions went to the Bernabeu to face Real Madrid in a glamour last-16 tie.
Isco put the hosts ahead early in the second half, but two goals in five minutes saw Man City run out 2-1 winners, securing their greatest European victory to date.
They are now in a great position to reach the quarter-finals and are heavy favourites to win the whole competition.
But did we really expect anything less than a Guardiola masterclass at the Bernabeu? Given City's impeding UEFA ban, he probably felt the club had a real statement to make.
- Man City fans slammed for 'terrible limbs'
- Frank Lampard plans to sell 8 Chelsea players
- Premier League launches 'Hall of Fame'
The Citizens did exactly that and with victory in Madrid also delivered their boss a milestone of his own.
Guardiola has now won 28 Champions League knockout matches as a manager - more than anyone else in history.
Before Wednesday night, he had been level on 27 wins with Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho, but now the Spaniard is alone out front.
Don't bet against him racking up more wins this season and beyond, either.
Check out a list of the 12 most successful managers in Champions League knockout history:
Pep Guardiola - 28 games
Sir Alex Ferguson - 27 games
Jose Mourinho - 27 games
Carlo Ancelotti - 27 games
Jupp Heynckes - 16 games
Ottmar Hitzfeld - 16 games
Arsene Wenger - 15 games
Zinedine Zidane - 15 games
Jurgen Klopp - 14 games
Louis van Gaal - 14 games
Max Allegri - 14 games
Rafa Benitez - 14 games
That's a list full of legendary names and it's one Guardiola now sits alone at the top of.
For Man City to go all the way and lift the Champions League trophy in May, Pep will need to mastermind six more wins this season, which would see him extend his personal record.
But he probably doesn't care about that. What he no doubt cares more about is winning Man City their first European Cup and sending a strong statement to UEFA.
