He may not have been in the ring since SummerSlam 2019, but somehow Goldberg got his way into the Universal Championship picture once again. The WCW legend already won the title in 2017 after squashing Kevin Owens at Fast Lane, and then dropped it not long after to Brock Lesnar. But not many would have expected him to be successful against Bray Wyatt's alter-ego - The Fiend.Since returning from a hiatus in 2019, Wyatt has become re-born with his split personality, and has become one of the most popular superstars in the company. His Firefly Fun House character is entertaining, and The Fiend is powerful and wicked in the ring, and some of his actions outside of the ring have made him even more popular.Wyatt has defeated the likes of Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan in recent times and has been undefeated since The Fiend was introduced. However in the main event of Super ShowDown in Riyadh, the streak was about to become obsolete. As soon as the bell rang, Goldberg hit Wyatt with no less than FOUR Spears, and they were moves that couldn't put the champion away.Wyatt unsuccessfully tried to make Goldberg pass out to the Mandible Claw, but the second time he managed to reverse it into his Jackhammer finisher.

And for the first time, The Fiend was pinned, and it only took Goldberg three minutes to beat him.

It's safe to say that WWE fans are absolutely furious at the decision, but the company themselves booked Wyatt into a corner.

It looks as though Roman Reigns is the chosen one once again and he's expected to win the Elimination Chamber match next week to secure a WrestleMania title match.

If that was against Wyatt, there was no way he would be cheered to victory, but if he goes against a Goldberg who the fans don't accept as champion, that makes the situation entirely different.

WWE though may have just ruined their most exciting character in years, and they haven't even realised it.
