Manchester United had a difficult time of things in the first leg against Club Brugge, but there were no signs of a struggle in the second at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring with a penalty, won via a blatant handball that still took VAR over four minutes to decide.

Odion Ighalo then doubled the Red Devils' lead on his first start for the club.

The Nigerian's arrival may have raised eyebrows when he joined in January.

However, if he can chip in with some vital goals between now and the end of the season he'll have been worth every penny of his loan fee.

And that's what he's already doing after he tapped the ball in at the end of some great team play by the hosts.

It was that man Fernandes who was involved yet again.

Check out the goal below:

Fernandes now has more goal contributions than any other player in the Europa League this season. Scott McTominay then added a third before half-time to put United firmly in the driving seat, but for once he's not the only midfielder the fans are raving about.

What a signing Fernandes has been.

Ighalo will now be hoping he can follow in his footsteps.
