Just a couple of hours ago in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the unthinkable happened. There were rumours of it happening, but no-one really wanted to believe it, and even before the event, betting odds suggested that Bray Wyatt would be walking out onto the stage at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 5 as Universal Champion. They were proven to be oh so wrong though. The tone was set when Goldberg hit four Spears in the opening seconds of the match, from which The Fiend kicked out of.Wyatt could not down Goldberg with the Mandible Claw, and when the Hall of Famer escaped for the second time, time was up on Wyatt's Universal Championship reign.

Goldberg hit a Jackhammer - that was more of a suplex than his 'devastating' finisher - for the three-count, and Bray's title reign, which didn't even make it to the four month mark, was over.

Up until this point, Wyatt had been booked like a monster as The Fiend.

He eviscerated Finn Balor, recovered from Seth Rollins' barbaric attacks and put him away, and he even put Daniel Bryan to the sword after months of battles.

But apparently a part-time 53-year-old who can't even lift him is now his weakness - and this is a massive problem.

At the end of the day WWE booked themselves into a corner and it's because of one man - Roman Reigns.

Reigns hasn't had a world title shot since he recovered from leukaemia this time last year, but WWE have been slowly building him back up to being a contender.

It was widely expected that Reigns v Wyatt would be the Universal Championship match for WrestleMania, but WWE must have realised that with Bray's ever-growing popularity, the majority of the fans at Mania would just reject Roman again.

So in the eyes of many, The Fiend has been squashed just so Roman Reigns gets a more positive reaction in Tampa on April 5, when he inevitably beats Goldberg - the champion no-one wants - for the belt.

But then what happens after WrestleMania? If The Fiend tries to re-claim his title from the prospective new champion Reigns, he's unlikely to be successful.

The apparent plans for Wyatt at WrestleMania are now for him to go one-on-one with John Cena again, and the 16-time world champion may be able to put Bray over in the best possible way.

However there's a chance that The Fiend is past the point of being able to be recovered after losing to someone who you can quite clearly see can't last longer than five minutes in a match without blowing up.

That will always be a sticking point in the minds of fans, no matter who he goes on to destroy in the coming months.

It's going to be a mammoth task for WWE to try and build The Fiend back up to being a monster once again - let's see if they can do it.
