Goldberg has fired back at actor Macaulay Culkin, who may have complained about his Universal Championship win at WWE Super ShowDown. To the shock of the wrestling world, Goldberg defeated ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt in the main event of Super ShowDown to capture the Universal title. It took just four spears and a jackhammer for the WCW icon to pin Wyatt and win the Universal Championship for the second time in his career. Many fans were angry with WWE for putting the Universal title on the 53-year-old, and actor Macaulay Culkin may be one of them. After Goldberg’s win at Super ShowDown on Thursday night, Culkin tweeted that he had cancelled his trip to Tampa Bay, where WrestleMania 36 is taking place in April.

The Home Alone star tweeted: “I've just cancelled my tickets to Tampa Bay.”

It’s unclear if Culkin has cancelled his trip to Tampa due to Goldberg’s win at Super ShowDown, but nevertheless, he’s received a response from the newly-crowned Universal Champion.

Goldberg tweeted: “@IncredibleCulk duly noted dork 👍😡”

The WCW icon’s win might not have been the only match outcome that caused the Home Alone actor to cancel his trip to Tampa.

Some fans were also angry about Brock Lesnar dispatching Ricochet quickly in his WWE title match, as well as The Undertaker defeating AJ Styles quickly to win the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet match.

It’s currently unclear as to what WWE has planned for Goldberg moving forward, but there are rumours stating he could defend the Universal title vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36.

The WCW icon is scheduled to appear on SmackDown this week in Boston, so fans could find out what WWE has planned for him then.

There’s no word on what Goldberg will be doing on the blue brand show, but WWE is teasing that The Fiend could be there to confront him.

Whatever WWE has planned for the newly-crowned Universal Champion though, Culkin won’t be in Tampa to see it happen.
