Boxing champion Anthony Joshua has been recruited by television legends Ant and Dec as part of their Saturday Night Takeaway show.The British WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion features in an upcoming episode of the show as he pranks his own fans.The programme returned to ITV after a two-year break with Anthony McPartlin taking a break from his presenting role mid-series following a drink driving charge two years ago.AJ provided a sneak preview into what is to come on the show on his social media accounts.The world champion posted a video which had him winding up supporters as part of the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Out Of Me Ear' segment.The video showed AJ make a joke about one supporter's name, as well as tease a fan about his world title.It is a popular part of the show in which celebrities are given an earpiece and told what to say and do by Ant and Dec.The presenting duo provide instructions through a microphone while watching live camera footage from a separate room.Joshua becomes the latest of high-profile stars to take on the role from the sporting, and even wider, world.

Previous episodes have seen Mark Wahlberg, Abbey Clancy, Cheryl, Robbie Williams and Peter Crouch take orders from the Geordie pair.

Fans of the show, however, already knew AJ would be taking part before the latest series began to go live.

Speaking to Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan ahead of the show's relaunch last week, Dec said: "We've done Anthony Joshua, Heavyweight Champion of the World."

Ant also added they have also managed to tie a pop superstar down.

"We've done Craig David as well," he revealed. "So they are all coming up this series."

The show is on ITV from 7pm to 8:30pm on Saturday.
