If you don't keep a keen eye on the League of Ireland, you're probably not familiar with Jordan Flores or his team Dundalk. But right now, they are in a race with Shamrock Rovers, trying to win their third consecutive Premier Division title. On Friday night, the top two teams met at Tallaght Stadium, home of the Rovers. The match - played in front of a record crowd - finished 3-2 to the hosts and gave them a three-point cushion at the top of the table. Dylan Watts, Roberto Lopes and Jack Byrne netted for Shamrock, while Flores and Patrick Hoban scored for Dundalk. The visitors may have lost the fixture, but Flores walks away as a Puskas Award contender thanks to his second-half screamer. He smashed a stunning acrobatic volley past the Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper, showing incredible skill to even connect with the ball and keep his shot on target. Check it out below:

Very Zlatan Ibrahimovic-esque.

Flores' goal was so good, that 'Puskas' was trending on Twitter shortly after, as many fans called for him to be nominated for the award.

"This is absolutely ducking filthy. What an unreal goal, holy s**t," one said.

Another added: "Honestly I’ve watched this goal on loop for about ten minutes and I still can’t work out how Jordan Flores does this. Sensational."

Even FIFA's official account tweeted to tease that the midfielder will be recognised for his incredible goal:

We've seen some cracking goals this season, but Flores has probably just blown everyone else out of the water.

It doesn't matter if that goal is scored in the League of Ireland, Champions League or World Cup. Whatever the fixture, that is an absolute screamer.

Take a bow, Jordan Flores.
