Manchester United look set for one of the biggest summer transfer windows in the club's history, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly planning a £200m spending spree.
With the right side of their attack remaining a problem area for the Red Devils, United are said to have set their sights on the in-demand Italian winger Federico Chiesa.
The Fiorentina academy graduate will not come cheap however, with £60m said to be the magic number for the numerous European heavyweights who are circling the talented winger.
With United looking in pole position to land his signature however, we take a look at exactly why he's so highly rated, and where he could potentially fit in at Solskjaer's United revolution.
The son of former Italy, Lazio, Fiorentina, and Sampdoria striker Enrico Chiesa - to name but a few of his clubs - footballing pedigree certainly runs in the family for Federico.
Joining the Fiorentina academy at just ten years of age, the talented attacker quickly progressed through the youth ranks, being promoted to the first team squad ahead of the 2016-2017 season.
Making his debut on the opening day of that campaign at just 18 years of age, against reigning champions Juventus no less, Chiesa would keep his place in the team for the entirety of the season - contributing three goals and two assists in his 17 starts.
The next campaign was even more of a success for the versatile winger, with a further six goals and five assists coming across his 35 starts in the Serie A.
2018 also saw the now much-talked about talent make his senior debut for the Italian national side, the first of 17 senior appearances to date, including his only goal-scoring appearance against Armenia, in their 9-1 thrashing in November of 2019.
Over the past two seasons Chiesa has continued to impress for La Viola, remaining one of their attacking talismans, and demonstrating his impressive versatility - having played in every position across his teams front four.
Still only 22-years-old, this versatility and youthful promise is certainly one of the biggest factors in the player's reported popularity in the transfer market.
As well as his attacking prowess, however, Chiesa has also fostered a reputation as being one of his teams hardest workers, racking up impressive defensive and running stats across each of his four senior seasons.
It's easy to see where in Solskjaer's United Chiesa would fit in, with the right side of their attack remaining an area in which no one player has consistently excelled over the past two seasons.
As a young, hungry player who is looking to make it to the top of the game, he also certainly fits into the profile of player the club has been targeting in recent years.
His £60m price tag also wouldn't prove much of a stumbling block for the Red Devils, and were Chiesa to fulfil his potential as one of the world's most exciting young players, it could prove a snip with hindsight.
