Liverpool won’t go the entire season unbeaten after a stunning 3-0 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road.Jurgen Klopp’s side already have one hand on the Premier League trophy but they were hoping to win it in style and become the first English team since Arsenal in 2003/04 to be crowned champions by going the whole campaign without tasting defeat.Yet Watford - in the relegation zone before kick-off - put an end to those aspirations.Arsenal fans are celebrating. They’ve not had much to shout about this season but they’re now safe in the knowledge that they will remain the only Invincible side in Premier League history, for now.And a 10-year-old Manchester United fan will be pretty happy, too.Daragh Curley went viral last month after he received a letter from Klopp. The young lad, from Donegal in Ireland, had contacted Klopp asking him to make Liverpool lose.“Liverpool are winning too many games,” Daragh wrote. “So the next time Liverpool play please make them lose.“You should just let the other team score.”

Klopp responded to the Man United fan by telling him that he couldn’t grant his request, but added “we will lose games in the future because that is football”.

It’s now been pointed out that since Daragh sent his letter, Liverpool have lost two matches.

They were beaten by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on February 18 and by Watford on Saturday.

Daragh’s got Klopp on strings.

Liverpool, of course, won’t really care much about not going unbeaten.

They still boast a 22-point lead at the top of the table and it’s a matter of when, not if, the title is sewn up.

But little Daragh will be delighted to have seen the Reds lose. Indeed, his Man United side can now say they are on a longer unbeaten run.
