Roy Keane laid into both David de Gea and Jordan Pickford at half-time of Everton vs Manchester United. Both goalkeepers made massive errors that saw their teams concede early on. Within three minutes, the hosts were ahead when De Gea took far too long clearing his lines before being charged down by Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The ball bounced off the Everton forward and into the net, much to the delight of the home fans. Goodison Park was rocking after that. But less than half an hour later, it was Pickford's turn to be embarrassed. He let Bruno Fernandes' long-range pot-shot fly underneath his body and into the net. It's fair to say both goalkeepers struggled and during the break, Sky Sports pundit Keane destroyed both of them. On De Gea's mistake, he said: "As a manager or player I'd kill him! You'd kill him!""He's a goalkeeper being too clever. He just takes too long. What is he waiting for?!"I think there's almost a bit of arrogance to it, 'look at me...' I would have lynched him at half-time. I'd have no time for that carry on."Speaking about Pickford, Keane claimed: "He's not a good goalkeeper. We said it before the game, he's not up to it." When another pundit pointed out that Pickford is England's number one, the former Man United captain added: "I don't care. He's not a good goalkeeper."

Absolutely brutal. But after the performance of both men, there probably won't be too many people arguing with Keane.

In fact, Dean Henderson's name was trending on Twitter during the match.

Man United fans are calling for him to be the club's number one next season following a brilliant campaign on loan with Sheffield United, while England fans want to see him at Euro 2020.

It wouldn't be out of the question to see both of those things happen, judging on the performances of De Gea and Pickford on Sunday afternoon.
