This year's iteration of FIFA hasn't been a smooth ride for EA - even from day one.Fans had #FixCareerMode trending on the day the game came out and issues have continued since then. They arguably peaked back in November when fans in Bucharest literally protested outside the offices of EA.The fans complained about various things, like the much-rumoured scripting of matches and the way packs operate in Ultimate Team. There has also been a problem with button delay - the time it takes for the game to recognise your presses - and complaints there reached a point where EA gave some users an overlay to help improve that responsiveness. But while the complaints have always been there, they've now reached a new all-time comical low recently.Because in a recent EA licensed qualifier on the professional ESports scene, two players were forced to decide a matchup through rock, paper, scissors.Server problems were so bad in what was, again, qualifier actually licensed by EA that they couldn't connect their games and had to settle things in another way.The losing player wasn't happy - as you can imagine:

The winner was a little happier - he'd beaten the odds and maintained his record, after all - and sort of celebrated his best-of-five victory on Twitter:

"Stand 3-1, because I was successful in the Rock Paper Scissors!" he wrote.

It's pretty shocking from EA who can't possibly expect people to take their eSport seriously if this is how matches are settled.

But then, they've given fans plenty of reasons to be upset this year - this is just the latest.
