League Two player of the year nominations announced

Wycombe captain Gareth Ainsworth has been nominated for the npower League Two player of the year award.

The 37-year-old has been a major influence in the Chairboys' drive for promotion and has weighed in with an impressive eight goals from the right wing.


The former QPR man is up against Bury striker Ryan Lowe and Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre for the award, which will be announced on March 20.
