Manchester United fans have been voted the 'sexiest' in the Premier League.

They are also more likely to secure a date than rival supporters in England.

So, how was this very important verdict reached? Via a very scientific study, of course.

Per The Sun, researchers set up 20 Tinder profiles with the same photo, name, age and hobbies for both men and women, with only the team they supported altered.

After three days, the number of 'right swipes' (matches) for each profile were counted, with Man United fans getting the most, and Norwich City fans the least.

Check out how many matches each profile got below:

Liverpool supporters aren't far behind in the 'sexiest' rankings either, with men getting 170 matches, while 161 people swiped right on female Reds fans.

The less said about Watford and Norwich fans though, the better.

Both male and female supporters struggled for matches, with those two teams coming 19th and 20th in both rankings respectively.
