Chelsea players predicted the outcome of Real Madrid’s clash against Barcelona on Sunday evening.

Michu Batshuayi shared the predictions on his Instagram account before deleting the post.

However, it was quickly screenshotted and shared on social media.

In the image, Cheslea’s players guessed the score in El Clasico, which Real Madrid won 2-0.

There was money on the line and Batshuayi was the only player to get it bang on.

Marcos Alonso, who started his career at Los Blancos, thought Barcelona would win 3-0.

Several other Chelsea players thought Lionel Messi’s side would win, including Pedro, Jorginho, Ross Barkley, Willian and N’Golo Kante.

Former Real midfielder Mateo Kovacic expected his old side to come out on top - he predicted Zinedine Zidane’s team to prevail 3-2.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi also said Los Blancos would win.

Here are the full predictions…

So Batshuayi will be collecting his winnings from his teammates.

Goals from Vinicius Jr. and Mariano secured a 2-0 win for Real Madrid that moves them to the top of La Liga, one point ahead of Barcelona.

Neither club has enjoyed a stellar domestic campaign but they’ve benefited from a lack of competition this year, with Atletico Madrid unable to put up a challenge.

The title race looks like it’s going to go right down to the wire, with 12 games still to go.

It shows just how gripping El Clasico is that Chelsea’s players were predicting the outcome and putting money on the line.

It’s one of the biggest games in world football. 650 million viewers watched the last meeting between the sides and, despite the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo no longer features, it’s still a must-watch fixture.
