Liverpool are arguably the best team in the world once again. The Reds won the Champions League in May and are now within reach of winning their first ever Premier League title. You can forgive Liverpool supporters for being excited given they've endured 30 years of hurt. But one man that hasn't been impressed with their behaviour is Noel Gallagher. The former Oasis singer, who is an avid Manchester City fan, has spoken about Liverpool following his side's Carabao Cup triumph. He's accused Liverpool fans of being 'terrible winners' as well as 'bad losers'.“Liverpool, for all their fans crowing, have been the best team in England once in 30 years,” Gallagher told talkSPORT.“You’ve got to wear it off that lot, they are terrible winners; worse losers but bad winners as well."

Gallagher isn't afraid to criticise Liverpool in public.

In an interview at the start of the season, he laughed at Liverpool for falling short in the Premier League last season and said they wouldn't get anywhere near Man City again this campaign.

He did admit that his side need to emulate Liverpool's European success and sees them playing each other in the final.

“But they’ve been the best team once in 30 years and we’ve got to try and emulate them in Europe, somehow," he continued.

“We are getting closer and destiny is driving us to play them in the final; for some reason I can just see it, and in Istanbul as well.

“That would be a terrible thing for everybody’s mental health if we had to go and play them.

“But I’m looking forward to the rest of the season."

But what would the result be if the two did meet in Istanbul?

“The final of the Champions League will be in Istanbul against Liverpool," he told BBC radio Manchester commentator, Mike Minay.

"We’ll batter them 1-0 and then leave the trophy in the stadium."
