Kepa Arrizabalaga returned to Chelsea’s starting line-up on Tuesday night for the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Liverpool. The Spanish goalkeeper had spent the past five matches on the bench after a run of unconvincing performances.Frank Lampard, who reportedly wants to replace the 25-year-old as his first-choice ‘keeper this summer, opted for Willy Caballero instead. However, Chelsea’s form with Kepa on the bench has been far from convincing. Chelsea only managed to secure one victory from those five games with Caballero in between the sticks and that was against Tottenham. The Blues were hammered 3-0 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week and drew 2-2 with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.Lampard insisted he had full confidence in Kepa prior to the Liverpool match and expected the former Athletic Bilbao star to make a positive impact. But even the Chelsea boss must have been taken aback by Kepa’s magnificent treble save midway through the first half.Watch it here…

Three saves in the space of about five seconds - outstanding stuff from the Spain international.

What a way to show Lampard that dropping him for Caballero was a mistake.

Here’s some of the best reaction to Kepa’s triple save from Twitter…

Chelsea lead 1-0 at the time of writing thanks to Willian’s 13th-minute goal after a mistake from Liverpool’s back-up goalkeeper Adrian.

Kepa, meanwhile, made more saves in the opening 31 minutes against the Reds (five) than in any other game this season.
