It was widely expected to happen, but the latest episode of Free The Delete pretty much confirms it - Matt Hardy is All Elite!

Just two days ago, Hardy took to his YouTube channel to explain that he had let his WWE contract expire, and from that point forward, he was officially a free agent.

AEW was expected to be his next move, and he's been heavily teased as the 'Exalted One' - the leader of the Dark Order.

That may or may not be the case, but in the final episode of Free The Delete which has just premiered, Hardy was revealed to be the man behind the phone call on Being The Elite, as many had already predicted.

Hardy mentions that he needs the Bucks to come and remove the 'zenith' from his body once again, and other clips show him getting his 'affairs in order' and creating a wooden cross, which hints that the character he bowed out of WWE with is getting crucified.

And the video ends with Matt and Nick Jackson arriving at the Hardy Compound in an SUV, with Matt greeting them as the 'Bucks of Youth' like he used to before he returned to WWE in 2017.

That may indicate that his broken brilliance is returning, but with the Bucks appearing in this manner, it all-but confirms that Matt Hardy is the latest signing to All Elite Wrestling.

Will he appear tonight though on the latest episode of Dynamite?

Hardy does not have a no-compete clause, so theoretically he could very well be in Denver, Colorado tonight.

If he does show up, no doubt it will cause a big reaction on social media, and it may not be a Hulk Hogan to WCW-level defection, but in the grand scheme of things, Hardy will make big news in the next few years.
