The New Day could make history at Elimination Chamber this weekend and join an elite club which includes Triple H, John Cena, Edge, and Daniel Bryan.

Kofi Kingston and Big E of The New Day will battle inside the Elimination Chamber this weekend against five other teams for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

The New Day will face SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison, The Usos, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, Heavy Machinery, and Lucha House Party inside the Chamber.

If Kingston and Big E win inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday, not only will they become six-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions, they will join an elite club of superstars that have won multiple Elimination Chamber matches.

Only four superstars have won more than one Elimination Chamber match since the first Elimination Chamber match took place in November 2002. These four superstars are Triple H, John Cena, Edge, and Daniel Bryan.

The Game has the most Elimination Chamber match wins in WWE history with four, winning Chamber matches at 2003’s SummerSlam, 2005’s New Year’s Revolution, 2008’s No Way Out, and 2009’s No Way Out as well.

Cena has the next most wins inside the Elimination Chamber with three. His wins came at 2006’s New Year’s Revolution, 2010’s Elimination Chamber, and 2011’s Elimination Chamber.

Both Edge and Bryan have two Elimination Chamber match wins to their name. The Rated-R Superstar’s Elimination Chamber wins came at 2009’s No Way Out and 2011’s Elimination Chamber, while Bryan’s Elimination Chamber wins came at 2012’s and 2019’s Elimination Chamber shows.

Both Kingston’s and Big E’s first Elimination Chamber wins came as members of The New Day at 2015’s Elimination Chamber.

On that night, The New Day defeated The Prime Time Players, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, The Ascension, The Lucha Dragons, and Los Matadores to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.

If Kingston and Big E win in their Elimination Chamber match again this Sunday, not only will they win the SmackDown Tag Team titles for the sixth time, they will join an elite club that includes Edge, Bryan, Cena, and Triple H that have won multiple Elimination Chamber matches.
