WWE news: Stone Cold Steve Austin booked to appear on March 16's Raw to celebrate 3:16 Day

Stone Cold Steve Austin is returning to WWE soon, as he has been booked to appear on the episode of Monday Night Raw which falls on 3:16 Day, March 16.

Austin will be making his first WWE appearance of 2020 when he shows up on March 16’s edition of Raw to celebrate 3:16 Day with the WWE fans.

The Texas Rattlesnake revealed to the WWE universe that he would be appearing on Raw in just under two weeks on his Twitter account.

He said in his tweet: “AUSTIN 3:16 SAYS I WILL BE LIVE ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW on 3/16!! OH HELL YEAH!!!#316DAY”

WWE added to the announcement of Austin’s Raw appearance with a statement on their website, saying: “The WWE Universe will be able to recognize the greatness of The Texas Rattlesnake with content, new merchandise and more throughout #316Day.”

A marathon of Austin-related programming will air on WWE Network on that date, leading into a brand new episode of Broken Skull Sessions with special guest Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

Exclusive Austin 3:16 merchandise will also be available on WWE Shop.com on 3:16 Day, as well as a special Topps Austin 3:16 digital card set, and custom content across WWE’s social media platforms celebrating Austin’s legendary career.

WWE noted as well that The Texas Rattlesnake has not yet indicated what he’ll be doing in his return, but most likely, Stunners will be in store, mudholes will be stomped, and Hells will be Yeah’d.

Stone Cold will be making his first live appearance for WWE since he appeared on September 9’s episode of Raw last year at Madison Square Garden.

On this night, he was present to adjudicate the contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman for their Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions.

After The OC interrupted the contract signing, The Texas Rattlesnake decided to give AJ Styles a Stone Cold Stunner as the show went off the air.

We’ll have to wait until March 16’s episode of Raw to see exactly what WWE has planned for Austin.
