Ronda Rousey and Cain Velasquez have been pictured at WWE headquarters in Stamford yesterday after running into each other.Rousey and Velasquez haven’t been seen in WWE in months, but it looks like both superstars are preparing themselves for their next appearance in the ring.Both former UFC Champions ran into each other while they were at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, so they decided to take a picture with one another.Velasquez tweeted out the photo on his Twitter, saying: "Had the pleasure of running into the pioneer that definitely also inspired my interest in the sport. Great to see you @rondarousey. @wwe"There’s no word yet as to why either Rousey or Velasquez was at WWE headquarters yesterday, but many people believe they were there to discuss their futures with the company.
It’s almost been a year since we last saw Rowdy in the WWE, as her last appearance for the company was when she lost the Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35 last April.
As for Velasquez, he hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since he lost to Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia last October.
There have been rumours that Velasquez would return to WWE soon. He even stated at the start of the year that he would be in the Royal Rumble match, but that never happened.
It’s unclear as to who the former UFC Champion would be feuding against once he does return to WWE, as he is yet to be assigned to a brand.
As for Rousey, she’s not expected to be back in a WWE ring until at least after WrestleMania 36, but it is possible that plans may have changed for her.
When she does return, Rowdy will likely reignite her rivalry with Lynch, the current Raw Women’s Champion who hasn’t lost the title she won from Rousey at last year’s Showcase of Immortals.
