It’s almost two weeks since Tyson Fury’s magnificent victory over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas. The Gypsy King produced the best performance of his career to end Wilder’s five-year reign as WBC heavyweight world champion. It was a performance that could potentially earn him the 2020 Sport’s Personality of the Year award. If the 31-year-old beats Wilder again this summer then he’ll surely seal that particular accolade, along with a few others.Fury and Wilder, who has taken up his rematch clause, will go head-to-head for the third time in the United States. It’s expected to be held at the MGM Grand again on July 18.Fury’s passionate dad, John, wasn’t in Las Vegas to see his son’s victory over Wilder and he probably won’t be allowed to watch the third fight, either, due to visa issues. However, he had a front-row seat in his house and was the proudest dad in the world as Tyson comprehensively outclassed The Bronze Bomber.Footage of Tyson’s phone call with his father emerged shortly after his victory - but we were not privy to what John was saying on the other end of the line. Until now…ITV were recording a documentary on Tyson and caught the moment where John spoke to his son on the phone. It’s actually quite emotional.“You’re the best fighting man I’ve ever seen in my whole entire life,” John says to Tyson, while watching his son on live TV speaking back to him. “What a masterclass.”Tyson asks if it looked good on TV, to which John replies: “It was the best I’ve ever seen in my life. You couldn’t write it.”He adds: “You’ve done it. You’ve equalled Muhammad Ali’s achievements, but let me tell you son, it was some performance. I’m still shaking.“Listen, take your care, love you son, well done. Take the best of care, God bless you, thank you.”Watch the phone call here...

What a beautiful moment.

Neither Tyson nor John will forget that night for the rest of their lives.

And neither will a lot of boxing fans.

Also on the same documentary, we were treated to this incredible moment from John Fury...

Hilarious!
