England will enter this summer's Euro 2020 tournament as one of the red hot favourites to win the entire thing.

The Three Lions' last - and only - major international trophy came way back in 1966 when they won the World Cup on home soil.

It's now been 54 years of hurt for the English, but they go into Euro 2020 with a very exciting young squad littered with world-class players and one of their best managers in decades.

One way Gareth Southgate and his merry men could look to improve their chances of winning the competition would be to take a leaf out of France's book, with Les Bleus famously winning the World Cup in 2018.

But we didn't expect the England team to do that by producing a kit for the tournament that looks the spitting image of their French counterparts' home jersey.

As revealed by Footy Headlines, England's away kit for Euro 2020 is now in the public domain and it's certainly a bold choice.

The jersey is bright blue with a red badge and a red stripe down the side.

If you saw that shirt on Kylian Mbappe, you'd be certain that it was France's new home shirt for Euro 2020.

It's kind of hard to tell whether the design is a stroke of genius or whether it is just goddam awful. Most will probably be siding with the latter on that one...

The all-over graphic print seen on the shirt is kind of cool and the collar design is rather sharp as well.

But it just doesn't really look like an England kit, does it? We miss the classic red away jerseys of yesteryear!
