Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor are going at it again.
The pair's meeting at UFC 229 in October 2018 clearly didn't settle their differences and on Sunday the Irishman took to Twitter to take aim at Khabib.
McGregor first responded to Khabib's 'street fight' jab aimed at his upcoming opponent Tony Ferguson, sharing a photo of the UFC Lightweight champion aboard the bus that McGregor attacked in Brooklyn.
The Notorious wasn't done there. He then took aim at Khabib's teammate Islam Makhachev after he tweeted 'this is not a woman's sport' following the incredible bout between female fighters Weili Zhang and Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 248.
McGregor wrote: "An absolute cretin. A Convicted Steroid cheat that will do anything to avoid impact and stall a fight, and then talks down on one of the greatest exchanges of combat ever produced by our female combatants.
"These little gremlins! It’s back on. Filthy rats. Shame on the game."
The Russian shared a photo of his opponent struggling under his weight with the caption: "Heeeelp".
Khabib's post instantly went viral, attacking thousands of retweets and likes within minutes.
But it wasn't long before McGregor hit back himself, sharing a photo of Khabib looking scared during the brawl that he started after beating the Irish fighter.
Khabib will defend his title against American fighter Ferguson at UFC 249 and he stoked the flames ahead of the bout by claiming he'd eat him in a street fight.
"Who are you?," the unbeaten Russian asked at Friday's pre-fight press conference. "You've fought a few American guys. You've never fought in the streets. I'm from (Russia). I can eat you. What are you talking about?"
He added: "You're not from Mexico. You're not a real Mexican. You're a fake Mexican. First you say you're American, now you're talking about you being Mexican.
"Where are you from? Where are you from? You're not real Mexican. No, no, no, buddy, you're a California guy. You're not Mexican. These two are different."
Nurmagomedov versus Ferguson will take place on April 18, with McGregor possibly awaiting the winner.
