Manchester United have done a Premier League double over Manchester City after beating them 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side had already beaten City at the Etihad back in December and followed that up with another brilliant performance and result against their ‘noisy neighbours’ on Sunday.

The win was only confirmed when Scott McTominay scored with virtually the last kick of the game, adding to Anthony Martial’s first half strike.

It was a magnificent team performance with everyone producing fantastic individual displays.

Martial picked up the Sky Sports Man of the Match award but several players could have claimed to have deserved it.

One player that can definitely feel hard done by for not picking up the accolade was Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The right-back was magnificent, pocketing Raheem Sterling for the second time this season.

He wasn’t dribbled past during the 90 minutes and won 11 duels, four tackles and made eight recoveries. He even contributed going forward with three dribbles and completing 18 passes.

And a video showing his individual highlights proves just how good he was.

Sterling will be having nightmares about facing Wan-Bissaka!

Wan-Bissaka cost United £50 million in the summer but he’s already starting paying back that price-tag with some great form.

The 22-year-old has helped the Red Devils move within touching distance of the top-four as they sit three points behind Chelsea.

He’s certainly given Gareth Southgate something to think about ahead of this summer’s European Championships.

England have an embarrassment of riches in the right-back position with Wan-Bissaka competing against the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier.

But play like he did yesterday a few more times between now and the end of the season and it really wouldn’t be a surprise to see Wan-Bissaka start in England’s opening fixture of the tournament.
