'Ruthless Aggression' is a must-watch series for any wrestling fan, no matter how long you've been following WWE for. The first season released just last month, and it already looks like a second series is in line to be released this autumn, showing that the 'docuseries' has clearly been very successful. While season one of the program seemed to focus more on the WWE superstars themselves, this second installation, judging from the newly released trailer, seems to also focus on the revolutionary match types which were created during the ruthless aggression era.The trailer shows Eric Bischoff talking about the creation of the Elimination Chamber match, one which still runs to this day, only happening last weekend. Interestingly, whilst watching the WWE crew set up the steel structure, Booker T turns to Triple H and says 'somebody gonna get f****d up tonight'.Elimination Chamber isn't the only new creation it focuses on, though, going by the trailer. They will also document the emergence of 'Money In The Bank'; a ladder match where a briefcase hangs above the ring rather than a championship belt. What's interesting to note from the trailer is the fact WWE legend Edge was dubious about the new match type, seemingly not understanding how you couldn't have a belt hanging above the ring for a ladder match. It also looks like there will be a feature on the 'Divas', with interviews with the likes of Mickie James revealing the true feelings of these brilliant women, while being treated so differently to their male counterparts. As well as a bunch more topics, this new series will also cover the lesser known Ohio Valley Wrestling promotion, which Jim Cornette argues was the reason for the existence of the ruthless aggression era, which should be a fascinating watch.

The ruthless aggression era has to be one of, if not the most, fascinating period in wrestling history, so it would be a shame to miss out on this new season when it comes out later this year.

If you haven't already watched the first season, get on it!
