The Road to WrestleMania always brings returns, and we have already seen the likes of The Undertaker, Goldberg and John Cena have their spots secured in Tampa on April 5.

And two more WWE personnel will return to our screens this Friday on SmackDown, just over three weeks until wrestling's premier event.

After being backstage at SmackDown for several weeks, Jeff Hardy is finally set to find a place on the blue brand once again.

The Charismatic Enigma hasn't been seen since April 2019, not long after he and his brother Matt Hardy captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from The Usos just two nights after WrestleMania.

Jeff suffered a knee injury that kept him out for the rest of the year, but he also suffered personal problems throughout his time on the sidelines, which saw him arrested twice in July and October respectively.

Hardy though appeared on WWE Backstage last week and confirmed that he had been cleared to come back into the fold, and with WrestleMania around the corner it is perfect timing.

He will also be returning to singles action as his brother has departed the company, so it'll be interesting to see where he slots in.

And whilst she isn't a superstar after retiring a couple of years ago, former SmackDown General Manager Paige will also be appearing in-front of the cameras this week.

It has been announced that the Brit will confront Women's Champion Bayley, who has been claiming herself to be the model of the women's division in recent weeks.

Rumours are rife that she will defend her title at WrestleMania in a six-pack challenge, and some believe that Paige will be the one to tell Bayley that she will be going up against five other competitors in Tampa.

But perhaps she is returning to announce that she is returning as SmackDown GM?

There has been no speculation on that, but it would be good to see authority figures return to our screens after a long time without them on Raw and SmackDown!
